About
Imagine, design and prototype future narratives through participatory and creative methods. Lab of Possible Worlds is an immersive and experimental workshop where participants step beyond familiar realities to explore radically different ways of living, deciding, and relating. This is not a space for predicting the future. It is a space for expanding what can be imagined—and experimenting it. At the core of the Lab is a simple but powerful shift: instead of asking “What will happen?”, we ask “What becomes possible if the rules of reality change?” Using an Imaginary Expansion framework, participants construct alternative worlds by reconfiguring key dimensions such as time, agency, value, conflict, and the role of inner experience. The Imaginary Expansion Framework (IEF) is a participatory and reflexive methodological approach designed to expand the space of the thinkable by generating and experientially exploring plural imaginaries. Grounded in principles of critical and radical pedagogy, the framework shifts learning and inquiry from passive reception toward collective meaning-making, co-creation, and situated knowledge production. The Lab of Possible Worlds is one of the primary applied formats of the Imaginary Expansion Framework, bringing together its generative, experiential, and reflexive components within a structured workshop environment. For all ages and interdisciplinary groups.
